Detective Conan, also known as Case Close is a Japanese detective manga series. The plot of the story traces the life of high school detective Shinichi Kudo, whose body mysteriously transforms into an elementary school kid’s while attempting to investigate a questionable organisation.

 

He goes about solving a plethora of cases by impersonating several different characters including his childhood best friend’s father.
 

It is the third bestselling manga of all time and is a huge series, to begin with, making it one of the longest-running anime of all time. Being such a long-running show ensures that it is also quite sought after as well. The show has a total of 1061 episodes to its name, with 469 of them being fillers.

 

The anime has a filler percentage of 44% which is quite high in comparison to similar shows, but that isn’t something to fret about, especially when you realise that despite being fillers, they’re equally entertaining to watch.

It seems that the police commissioner has committed a crime this time. And his lies will be dug down by our boy Conan.

 

A police veteran seems to have caused havoc by killing one of the mob informants during its struggle. However, when Conan arrives at the place, he realizes that this situation is a lot more complex than what meets the eye.

 

And even though that police officer said that he did it under the act of self-defence, there’s no denying that he might very well be guilty of it.

Someone seems to be playing God in the show. And Conan will be taking a closer look at him.

 

It looks like someone, claiming themselves to be “God of Death” is sending death threats to a celebrity. And that has created a bit of an unjust in the life of the celebrity. Conan, Richard, and Rachel are planning to put an end to all this nonsense.

A billionaire seems to be concerned about his life. As his age reaches closer and closer to a defined number, he is starting to get wary about his life.

 

More specifically, he is focused on his daughter being the one who will bring trouble to him, just so she can keep everything to herself.

 

However, when Conan reaches the location, he realizes that his eyes are seeing something that’s way more complex than a murder for the sake of money.

There seems to be an unexpected accident taking place in this case. However, it looks like the situation is a bit more complex than just an accident.

Eri is against Reiko Kujo yet again when she is in support of a burglar who has been suspected of murder during his break-in.

 

Now on the surface, any act committed by a burglar is going to be game-changing. However, there’s a lot more to this than what meets the eye.

 

And that’s why this episode involves Conan and Kogoro, taking a look at the crime scene yet again. This will be amazing.

 

 

11. Sweetheart Is an Illusion of Spring (Episode 357)

 

Ran happens to have a friend around who has been murdered and robbed by someone. However, the person who has committed the crime seems to be the lover of the victim.

 

Yup, this love story didn’t end well. Things got difficult and started to fall apart between them. And so, finding that person is going to be extremely important.

 

After all, it’s a question of life and death.

The story focuses on a bunch of children who have received an interesting school activity. The idea is simple.

17. The Day Kogoro Mori Discontinues His Detective Business (Part 1) (Episode 540)

 

Being a detective is no easy feat. And that’s why things start to get annoying when the guilt starts to pave in.

 

That’s exactly what happened with Kogoro in this situation. When he suspected a guy of being a criminal, the guy ends up committing suicide because of the same.

 

And after hearing about this incident, Kogoro realizes that things are getting out of hand and thus, takes the drastic step of shutting down his detective agency and moving on in his life.

 

 

18. Stork Mystery Tour (Ran’s Search Part) (Episode 554)

 

Ran seems to have some serious issues with her. And she doesn’t even realize it. She ran into a little girl and ended up accompanying her along with Kinosaki.

 

However, there’s a catch. There seems to be a mysterious man behind both of them. And this mysterious man is doing what mustn’t be done under any circumstance whatsoever.

Ran has been kidnapped. And she fainted because of her experience. However, the moment she gets her consciousness back, she realizes that she is in a dark place.

 

In this dark place, there is nothing around. And she starts to panic and feels concerned about herself. However, soon enough, things start to change.

 

How? Because the Detective Boys are on their journey to find her and save her from any predicament. This is going to be a game-changer for her.

 

 

20. The Partner is Santa-san (Episode 566)

 

A young woman seems to be experiencing some horrifying incidents. And let’s just say that her experiences are nothing like what we have seen before.

 

This is going to be a revolutionary experience. And that’s why the episode is so crucial for our list.

 

The woman seems to have been bothered by someone for quite a while now. The culprit is stalking her for quite some time and has caused crimes such as hanging her and bonding her.

The story focuses on Conan, Ran, and Sonoko. These guys are on a health retreat and so, they seemed to be a bit laid back in their approach for now.

And although people hated the guest, there’s no denying that Conan won’t allow the culprit to get away with killing.

 

 

23. The Lover Gone Missing in a Snowstorm (Episode 767)

 

Conan and his team are on vacation for now. They decided that they should relax in the mountains for vacations.

 

However, murder seems to have taken place at this location as well. The idea is simple. One of the owners had a boyfriend.

 

And that boyfriend is dead now. Conan and the others are aware of this situation. And they have suspected three sisters of the incident.

And that proposal revolves around him figuring out the murder of the head’s son. This interaction is going to get interesting.

Mori and the gang went for a robbery. And although the robbery doesn’t go as planned, things start to get interesting when Mori and the gang reunite at the gang’s hideout.

Conan seems to have some issues with a group of detectives that they have come across. These detectives are professionals who seem to be the counterparts of their current selves.

 

However, things start to get interesting when they solve a case alongside the main team. Although things seem very basic and simple on the outside, Conan happens to realize that something is a bit off here.

 

And that’s his Intuition that makes the move.

 

 

29. Mirage of the Disappearing Angel (Episode 778)

 

An artist was having his time on a beach. However, things seemed to have gone out of track and my man ended up losing his life.

 

Now the problem here is that everyone is assuming it to be an accident. However, there’s no denying that this person has a different story going on for themselves.

 

And that’s what Conan will figure out with his efforts.

 

 

30. Bekapon’s Bleeding Service (Episode 790)

 

A supermarket seems to have an interesting murder case taking place within its boundaries. The idea is simple. One of the employees at the supermarket was receiving threats on phone calls.

 

And so, he decided to ask Mori to act upon this case. However, when Mori looked into the matter, it felt that these calls were nothing but pranks.

 

However, the very next day, a person ends up losing his life because he resembles an employee.
