Important Arcs of the Demon Slayer

Demon Slayer is a massively popular series. And a lot of credit for that achievement goes to the fact that the anime has a ton of amazing arcs revolving around it.

There’s a reason why people appreciate it so much. And so, a lot of these arcs make it important for us to watch them properly, so as to enjoy the series in the best way possible.

1. Final Selection Arc

This arc is all about the final selection. This is where things start to get interesting as Tanjiro tries to qualify for the final selection. And since these newbies would have to go up against the real threat in this segment, this does feel new to the audience.

While the core activities will be the final selection, the story starts a lot earlier than the exam is even mentioned. Right from the beginning, this arc has been a part of the show.

And so, if you are a fan of the series then you might want to look back on this arc and remember the old days when doing even 1 form of breathing technique was considered magical.

2. Kidnapper’s Bog Arc

This is the shortest arc in the series. And that’s because it showcases Tanjiro’s new life but in a brief sense. The story talks about the point from which, Tanjiro is a Demon Slayer.

And now he is experiencing the absence of girls in his area due to some unknown reasons. Needless to say, our boy tries to figure out the reason. And once he does, he realizes that things are a lot more interesting than what meets the eye.

There seems to be a demon who has the ability to create portals in his swamp. And now, Tanjiro will be dealing with that demon.

3. Asakusa Arc

This arc focuses on two demons who are part of the twelve Kizuki. This is the group of demons that serve directly under Muzan Kibutsuji. And so, there’s a good chance for Tanjiro and the gang to get some info from these demons.

However, this will be a lot more difficult since these demons are a lot stronger than other demons. Moreover, they also use magical weapons that support them in combat. This is why Asakusa arc is so memorable for the audience.

Even Tamayo and Yushiro will be having a hard time trying to deal with these beasts.

4. Tsuzumi Mansion Arc

This is the arc where our trio first meets each other and commences their friendship. The story talks about the introduction of Zenitsu Agatsuma and Hashibira Inosuke as we watch these guys find their way to the spotlight from a house that seems to be special.

Two kids were found in this house and their brother seems to be missing. However, the catch here is that this house is a mess since if you get lost in any of the rooms of this house, you are essentially screwed.

These rooms flip on their own and strong demons are on their way. Let’s see how it goes.

5. Mount Natagumo Arc

This arc defined Demon Slayer for everyone and that’s why it is so important for the audience. This is the one that features the legendary episode 19 that took the entire internet by storm.

Just for revision, this is the episode where things started to get tough as a lower rank moon demon happened to stand against Tanjiro and his team. His name was Rui and this man was enjoying his life with his family of spider demons.

Needless to say, there was a lot more to this story than what met the eye and that’s why the arc is so popular amongst anime fans.

6. Rehabilitation Training Arc

This is where Tanjiro meets the Hashira, the strongest Demon Slayers in the entire nation. This group does not mess around and although they do respect other Demon Slayers, Tanjiro is a special case since his sister is a Demon herself.

By law, Tanjiro must kill his sister because of her demonic presence. However, he isn’t going to do so. Now the question is, how is he going to convince the Demon Slayer corps to feel the same as he does for Nezuko.

And the toughest people are going to be the Hashiras. This is going to be a lot more fun and exciting.

7. Mugen Train Arc

Passengers have been going missing from a train and so, people are concerned about the same. There’s a reason why this arc will also shape the anime in ways we couldn’t have even expected.

This arc is known for having some fiery action. And that’s because Flame Hashira Kyojiro Rengoku will be the face of this arc. He will be going on against the Demon causing these missing cases to happen.

However, the show will take a rough turn when an unexpected enemy would pop up. And this beast will be a challenge even for the Flame Hashira.

8. Entertainment District Arc

The entertainment district arc is all about flashiness. The star of this arc is Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui. And this man has 3 wives. Yeah, that’s the highlight indeed. However, the core storyline focuses on the entertainment district losing its members due to unexpected demon speculation.

And when Tengen, Tanjiro, and his gang decide to visit the place, things start to take some interesting turns as they will be going against one of the upper-rank demons.

This will be fascinating and terrific. Therefore, if you are yet to watch it, make sure that you do so as soon as possible.

9. Swordsmith Village Arc

This arc focuses on Tanjiro and doesn’t feature much content for Inosuke and Zenitsu fans. The story talks about Tanjiro reaching out to a swordsmith village to meet Hotaru Haganezuka, the guy who made his sword.

And there, he would have to explain to him why his sword was damaged so heavily. While Hotaru does the repair work for that sword, Tanjiro will have no choice but to help Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito as they try to face two Upper ranks.

Moreover, there’s a demon that can split his body into multiple clones and can heal basically instantly. Now that’s devastating.

10. Hashira Training Arc

Hashira training arc is all about Himejima Gyomei who will be training Tanjiro for the difficult battles that are situated right on the horizon. And let’s just say that this training is going to be brutal as Gyomei is the strongest Hashira in the entire show.

Getting his approval will be a hassle. However, once you do, you can rest assured that your level of excellence has made you reach a point where nothing can stop you.

It’s all efforts and nothing else. After all, you can’t compare the beauty of training with a Hashira with anything else. And Muzan is on the lookout for Nezuko and Ubuyashiki.

11. Final Battle Arc

The final battle arc is classified into two separate arcs. The first one is the infinity castle arc where all our heroes enter Muzan’s infinity castle and will be facing the strongest foes they have ever faced.

This arc will focus on Shinobu going up against Doma and Zenitsu going up against another upper rank. And finally, the Sunrise Countdown Arc where the Demon Slayer corps will be going against Muzan after so long.

This will be the decisive battle that everyone was longing for. And that’s why it is going to be a remarkable experience for anyone and everyone watching the show.
