Where to watch: Netflix
If you are a fan of One Piece then there’s no better way for you to enjoy the series than Netflix.
The platform happens to have a ton of episodes available for its subscribers. And that’s what makes it so capturing for everyone.
There’s a reason why people appreciate anime as well as Netflix. The sheer accessibility is what makes it so special.

One Piece Watch Order Based on Release Date
One Piece is quite straightforward with its approach toward its core storyline. It doesn’t stray off from the plot and goes on to showcase the entire narrative in one smooth sequence.
While it does have a few filler episodes, they are perceived to be marginal in the overall viewing experience.
1. East Blue
East Blue Saga focuses on the inception of the story and the introduction of all our beloved characters. The show talks about Luffy embarking on his journey and figuring out a crew for himself.
Not only that but he is also searching for the grand line and trying to get around it in these episodes.
This saga stands from episodes 1 to 61 and encompasses the foundation of the series. And the introduction of the legendary character, Shanks, also takes place in this arc itself.
And that’s what makes this entire saga so special for One Piece fans. It holds a lot of value in terms of nostalgia and that’s where all the fun comes in for the audience.
2. Entering Into the Grand Line
This is where the show starts to get serious. And that’s why the entire segment is so fascinating for the audience.
The story focuses on Grand Line and how it manages to become the most important aspect of the series. It seems to be an ocean route that happens to be spread all across the globe.
In other words, it is a lane accessible to everyone and happens to have One Piece at its climax. With that information in hand, many pirates tend to visit that place with ambition and strength.
There’s a reason why people always look back at this saga and feel confident about it. If you haven’t started this arc then don’t waste any time further.
It will be more than what you would have hoped for.
3. Introducing Chopper at the Winter Island
This segment allows our beloved Chopper to join the crew. You see, in these episodes, the show focuses on Nami falling sick.
Now the crew happens to have a special place in their hearts for Nami. However, what’s more, important to note here is that this character is also quite crucial for the adventure as she is the navigator.
And so, her presence is extremely important for the progression of the series. And that’s where our team comes across Chopper, a cute creature who will go ahead and become the most capturing personality in the entire series.
This arc will result in a revolution. And thus, it will be the inception of the Chopper Club.
4. Arrival in Alabasta, Fierce Fighting in Alabasta
The crew is now standing on the lands of Alabasta. And so, things are getting serious now. This place happens to be the Desert Kingdom.
And so, there seems to be an unspoken race going on in this series. It talks about the characters trying their best to reach the end of the land at a place called Alubarna.
However, they have to do it as soon as possible. But there’s a catch. There seems to be a war going on between the characters of the series.
And that’s why this race has to be done quickly. Or else, a new and unexpected warrior will take over and commit the unthinkable.
5. Dreams!, The Zenny Pirate Crew Sortie!, Beyond the Rainbow
This segment is a bit exclusive to the anime. And that’s why it is even more special for anime-only viewers.
The story talks about Zenny Pirates. And these pirates received help from our Straw Hat Crew on their journey. This is why this group happens to hold a lot of value for the audience.
Moreover, Zenny, the captain of the crew, recruited a flock of goats as his subordinates. And all these goats were trained by him to understand and follow his commands.
Therefore, things started to get interesting and everyone was so excited about the battle that Zenny was a part of against the Marines.
6. Sky Island: Skypiea, The Golden Bell
This one is the second and the last story arc for Sky Island. And that’s why the entire segment is so capturing for the audience that appreciated Sky Island.
The entire show focuses on the core theme that there is a city of gold in this world. And that city is what our crew is after.
Moreover, as they spend more time at this place, they realize that this Sky Island happens to be connected to Jaya and Mont Blanc Noland.
This is why the entire segment will be game-changing and capturing for the audience. If you haven’t watched it yet, make sure that you do so as soon as possible.
7. Escape! The Marine Fortress & The Foxy Pirate Crew
This is a filler arc. However, that doesn’t change the fact that this entire segment is nothing but fascinating for the audience.
And that’s why it is placed here on our list. Foxy’s Return arc is all about the Straw Hat Pirates coming across Foxy, Porche, and Hamburg.
The interesting thing to note here is that this encounter is a repeated one and so, the emotions in this encounter are going to be a lot more impactful than what meets the eye.
The fact that these characters are going to result in a situation where the individuals tend to encounter Aokiji and make it out alive is why this segment captivates the audience on so many levels.
8. Water Seven
This arc is game-changing in the series. Why? Because it resulted in the loss of the trust that the Straw Hat Crew had.
Needless to say, the situation wasn’t as horrible as it could have been. However, it was quite befitting of what we see in the series.
The show focuses on the crew and its arrival at Water 7. This place is essentially a metropolis in the ocean.
And that’s what makes it so impressive in the first place. However, what brings in the difference is that this segment is going to be nothing less than fascinating for all of us.
And if you are a fan of the series then there’s no denying that this saga will give you the chills that you need.
9. Enies Lobby
A large group of people arrives at the Enies Lobby. And all of them happen to be in search of something or another.
However, that’s not what will bring the chills in this saga. It will be Luffy’s actions that will change the course of the show for the rest of the series.
The show focuses on Luffy and the World Government. This meeting in the Enies Lobby has resulted in a lot of groups falling under the radar of the world government.
And that’s why the entire anime is so fascinating to the audience. Luffy will declare war against the Government. And the results are going to be epic.
10. Thriller Bark
Thriller Bark is a saga that seems to go unnoticed by fans at times. However, that doesn’t change the fact that this show is progressive in every aspect whatsoever.
And that’s why this arc deserves special recognition in the series. It talks about a new place that seems to be haunted by ghosts.
The series focuses on Warlord Gecko Moria who stole the Straw Hat Crew’s shadows from them on the island of Thriller Bark.
And our team must strive to figure out their way through this situation. They would have to rely on a new person who would be responsible for their survival on this dangerous island.
And that’s where the story gets interesting.
11. Sabaody Archipelago
This is a milestone in the series. And that’s because Sabaody Archipelago is one of the most fascinating islands in the entire world.
The story talks about Luffy and his crew arriving at this place and trying to have a breath since they managed to get across half of the Grand Line.
However, what’s important to note here is that this place is nothing less intimidating than all the places they have been to before.
This place will take the series to the next level as chaos breaks out in Archipelago, and Zoro as well as Luffy are going to be subjected to some serious action.
12. Island of Women
This place is dangerous. And the way our main character ends up landing at this place is even more fascinating.
The Island of Women is a saga that focuses primarily on Luffy and his life as he ends up summoned to this Island, after his defeat in Archipelago.
And this island is ruled by women. This is done so extremely that any man is executed on sight. And so, surviving here is nothing less than a challenge of its own.
However, as time passes by, Luffy will not only survive in this place but also come across a few facts that will shape his life forever.
13. Impel Down
This entire saga is about Prison Escape. Luffy wanted to search for his crew. However, he seems to have bigger problems ahead of him as he faces some of the most intimidating individuals on this battlefield.
He would have to figure out a way to make it through the Underwater Prison and bring everything back to its place.
However, the story changes when Luffy decides to help his brother Ace instead. And this marks the beginning of a saga that will change the way anyone looks at One Piece.
Let’s just say that the tone is about to get a million times rougher.
14. Marineford
This arc will change the way this series functions altogether. It is going to focus on an unforeseen large-scale battle that would have never occurred if it wasn’t for the events that result in this situation.
Luffy and his gang decide to follow Ace as he is being transferred to Marineford. And things are about to get lucky as Ace will have his brother fighting for him against the Marines.
The Marineford is the headquarters for Marines and that’s why the entire segment is so captivating for us. Just as you might expect, this chase will result in a battle, none like the ones we have seen so far.
15. Fishman Island
This island is bound for destruction. And that’s not a myth, that’s a prophecy. This island is so important in the series as it is the last place that the Straw Hat Crew visits, before entering the new world.
And so, this entire saga will bring a ton of memories and strong points for the viewers. It is said that someone with a straw hat will be responsible for the demise of this island.
And that’s why this entire segment is so entertaining for the audience. Will the fisherman island prophecy come true or will the island meet a new side of the spectrum?
16. Punk Hazard
This embarks the New World storyline in One Piece. The series focuses on a story that we have never seen before.
And that’s why the entire saga is filled with hype moments and exciting scenes. The narrative follows Luffy as he gets engaged with a group called the Punk Hazard.
And these guys are going to be the first troublemakers in the anime as they force Luffy to reach out to another island that would be nothing less than fascinating for the audience.
This place will be filled with new enemies as well as a few old ones. This is going to be fun.
17. Dressrosa
This segment will be the connecting link between Straw Hats and Trafalgar Law as they join hands to make sure that they capture the brute warlord named Donquixote Doflamingo.
This man will change the game for the entire series. And although it may seem that this entire segment will shake the course of the show for the rest of us, there’s no denying that their actions are going to be a lot more impactful on the overall narrative than what meets the eye.
And so, if you are in the prime of One Piece then the Dressrosa Saga is the one for you.
18. Silver Mine, Zou, Marine Rookie
One Piece Gold was one of the best movies of its time. And to enjoy that movie to its fullest, one must take a look at this saga with brute focus.
The story talks about Luffy and Bartolomeo being captured by a group of gangsters. And it is said that these guys would have to escape this place as soon as possible.
Or else, they might be in some serious trouble. While this arc is filler in nature, that doesn’t change the fact that this segment is a lot more fascinating than what meets the eye.
And so, make sure that you appreciate the anime from the bottom of your heart.
19. Whole Cake Island, Reverie
Whole Cake Island may seem like a silly name at first. However, when you dive deep into the lore of this story, you will realize that there’s a lot more to it than what meets the eye.
This saga talks about Luffy and his gang, trying their level best to rescue Sanji. This is because Sanji is being subjected to a forced marriage with Charlotte Pudding so that they can have a political alliance between the Charlotte Family and the Vinsmoke Family.
And although the group’s main objective was just to save Sanji, soon enough, they will be involved in the assassination of Big Mom.
20. Wano Country
Considered by many as the best arc in One Piece so far, the Wano Country arc is a segment of its league.
The hype of this entire saga is so insane that it’s not even comparable to anything we have ever seen before.
And that’s what makes it so fascinating in the first place. Wano Country is going to make things easy for everyone as there will be revelations of mysteries that have been roaming in the narrative since the beginning of the series as well as some fascinating battles that will leave the audience in pure awe.
This saga is absolutely insane and you must watch it right now if you haven’t already.

Filler episodes are the ones you can skip since they don’t have any significant story advancements within their narrative. And that’s what makes this entire filler list a useful tool for all those who wish to watch One Piece as efficiently as possible.
Therefore, if you are a bit short on time then this list might come in handy for you. The total filler percentage for One Piece is 9% which is quite impressive for a series like One Piece.
