Top 60 Best Ecchi Anime Of All Time [The Ultimate Lewd Anime List]

ecchi anime

Before the Isekai revolution, it was Ecchi or Lewd that dominated the anime landscape. This genre is used to categorize animes that have sexual overtones in them.

In short, ecchi is soft-core. It should not be confused with Hentai anime. Hentai animes are about fetish or perversion.

This genre may be present in some Ecchi animes. There are some, in the list below.

Some of the common ecchi representations are:

  • Double-meaning or double-entendre dialogues
  • Suggestive images and visuals
  • Portraying certain vulgarities
  • Exposure or revealing clothing etc

Ecchi themes in the anime are mostly a part of fan service. Now, what’s that?

It’s a non-relevant or harmless addition in fiction. It’s mostly added to engage and entertain the audience.

This does not add any value or substance to the plot. It is a means of giving the viewers some extra stuff to stay put.

We, at ENTOIN, have created a list of Ecchi animes for you to watch.

Aesthetica of a Rogue Hero was popular for its fantasy theme. Though it had very little ecchi, it ranked higher here.

The reason for that is its awesome direction and reviews. The anime had moderately graphical scenes.

It talks about Samson’s Syndrome. This is a condition that lets people travel to other worlds.

This part is Isekai, to be precise. Akatsuki decides to return after a long stay outside.

He also has a companion. Later, the anime shows his life after the return. It points mainly to his school – Babel.

It was the original material of this concept. It is 34 on this list because of its rarity.

It’s a parody ecchi anime. Since there’s an element of supernaturalism, they had to add comedy to balance the theme out.
