This character is one of Gohan's classmates. And that's why she isn't recognized nearly as much as others are.

However, that doesn't change the assumption that this character can make a difference over time. Maybe her return will bring more value to the table.

Although looking at the status of the show at this point, the character can't match anyone in any regard. But when she was a viable individual, she did her part very well.
