At the beginning of his second semester in high school, Makoto Itou becomes infatuated with Kotonoha Katsura, a fellow student he encounters daily on their train ride.

Overwhelmed by his own shyness, Makoto resorts to secretly capturing a photo of her, hoping it will serve as a symbol of his hidden affection.

However, his classmate Sekai Saionji stumbles upon the picture and instead of exposing his secret, offers to assist him in pursuing a relationship with Kotonoha by becoming her friend.

Thus, an unexpected friendship unfolds, setting the stage for a tangled web of emotions and romantic complexities.

School Days delve into the bittersweet experiences of these three teenagers as they navigate the challenges and joys of high school life, leaving an indelible mark on the audience with its poignant blend of romance and melancholy.

While this anime is not specifically focused on Psychological horror, it does have numerous elements that make it one.
