Therefore, you can sculpt your face and change it in whichever way you want to. And although this may sound like a blessing, Yaeji will soon realize why this is the biggest curse of her life.

 

This is why the movie is going to be an experience.

 

 

44. Darkside Blues

 

 

This anime is quite interesting when it comes to its premise. This is why everyone should give it a try at least once. The show talks about an era where the Persona Century Company has brought the entire earth.

 

And now, they are acting as if they rule the world. They have prime control and nothing can go against them. However, in one of the countries, a resilient group named Messiah is starting to form.

 

And thanks to a miracle, this group will have the assistance of Darkside, a man who was sealed by the Persona Century Company 18 years ago. However, now he is back and his powers will be used for a great cause.

This movie is based on the original premise of the franchise. And let’s just say that it lays out its plot very well. It talks about a world where humans are not considerate towards nature anymore.

 

They just wish to do whatever they want to without any humility towards the greenery. This has led to a rise of ghosts in the world. These ghosts seem to be upset by this behavior of humans.

 

However, their tribe is distinguished on two bases. One group wishes that humans perish, while the other decides to coexist with humans. And this is where the fun begins. Why?

 

Because our main character Kitaro and his family want to coexist with humans.

 

 

47. Gegege no Kitarou: Youkai Tokkyuu! Maboroshi no Kisha

 

 

 

A Gegege No Kitarou movie. Shouldn’t come as a surprise at all. It talks about the Ghost Train episode and the Great Yokai War episode in the show.

 

In terms of numbers, these are episodes 7 and 10-11. This is why the movie manages to get a hold of its narrative. As it is a replay, it allows the viewers to revisit the good moments of the series.

 

And when that happens, the show gains more and more recognition and value in its content. However, in terms of execution, this work is considerably decent. And has quite a lot of points that make it stand out more than any of the episodes.

 

 

48. Jiok

 

 

Many of us don’t know the value of our own life. And this show talks about just that. It focuses on a girl named Jae-young who has been sentenced to death.

 

And this sentence is given to her by an angel. She is now supposed to be a part of heaven. And for Jae, heaven is no big deal because it’s a hollow place.

 

She claims that heaven doesn’t have reason or humanity in it. That is why she has no problem going there. However, problems may start to arise when she realizes the value of her life during her farewells.

 

As she says goodbye to everyone she loved, her life starts to gain meaning and now she wishes to continue living. But is it too late?

 

 

49. Choujin Densetsu Urotsukidouji 2

 

 

This anime is heavy in its supernatural content. So make sure you don’t expect extreme realism from the movie. The series talks about the time when the Nazis attempted the unacceptable.

 

They went ahead and decided to open the third-world barrier. However, they didn’t succeed all that much and so, things seemed to calm down. But this was the time of world war 2.

 

And nothing will be left incomplete in this era. Therefore, the group went on it again and this time, they might end up involving Chojin as well. And Overfiends might also get involved.

 

Plus, all of this will take plus because of one mad scientist? Wow, that’s quite something, isn’t it? Let’s see how it goes.

 

 

50. Gegege no Kitarou: Chisougan

 

 

A rather uncommon name from the medium. However, it will still give you the chills you desire so much. The movie belongs to the popular Gegege no Kitarou Franchise. And it happens to be one of the featured episodes from the original series.

 

More specifically, this movie is just an extended version of the 37th episode from the original anime. That anime aired back in 1971. And it had a ton of incredible horror scenes in it.

 

Apart from that, it has nothing otherworldly if you think about it. However, if you are a hardcore fan of Gegege No Kitarou then this episode is a must-watch for you.

 

Not exactly a full-length movie, but a noteworthy revision of what you have seen before.
