Let's start this with a question, what is your favorite anime genre? I can hear you telling Shounen, Shojo, Josei, Yaoi, Isekai, etc.., But, did anyone say Cyberpunk? Very few of you might have.
And let me compliment you on that. Cyberpunk is indeed a very engrossing genre to have an interest in. And for the ones who stumbled here by mistake and wondering what in the world are “Cyberpunk” animes.
Let me tell you something about this forgotten genre of the anime world. Cyberpunk is an old yet still evolving genre of the animation bubble. The genre was introduced to the world by Bruce Bethke in 1982, through his story, “Cyberpunk”.
Cyberpunk is known to be a sub-genre of the well-loved genre “science-fiction”. Cyberpunk has always been something that could look into the future for you. I mean, you might have thought robots will work for you, from waking you up from sleep to doing your laundry.
From making you some delicious snacks to taking you to places. No one would have. Nevertheless, there were still a few geniuses that anticipated this change ages ago. And they were more amazing people who brought this interesting topic to the anime world.
Now tell me if that sounds interesting. Yes or No? Well, mixed feelings? I got you! I brought you this list of the best 49 cyberpunk animes of all time which by the end will make you interested or will at least convince you to pick one of them.

We still got gender wars happening on Earth, don’t you agree? Though thousands of laws have been made and implied, people personally still find it difficult to digest certain things about the opposite gender.
Here we got the same interesting story with the development of sets. I mean, the war is not on Earth anymore but straight up in the galaxy. The set is in the galaxy where humankind has colonized the galaxy.
Among the one-star system, men and women have been segregated. They have been carried to live on two different planets Mejere for the woman and Taraak for the men. And this mere oil has given rise to a huge flame war between men and women.
