Top 50 Best Action Comedy Movies To Watch In 2022

Shivam ParasharShivam-Updated June 26, 2022

Top 50 Action-Comedy Movies Of All Time!

The genre of action-comedy is one of the most spectacular genre hybrids out there. One reason why action-comedy titles are watched by millions the world over is the fact that they tend to blend the independent genres of action and comedy into one ambitious mainstream project.

While the result may not always be exciting, the films do turn out to be amusing if nothing else.

That said, the genre did not really gain prominence until the onset of the 1980s. A lot many buddy-cop features are credited with its rapid development within the cinematic universe.

It is not in the least bit surprising then that the action-comedy formula truly came into its own and carved a niche for itself among a plethora of tent-pole Hollywood releases during the 1990s.

What makes the genre so special is the fact that the movies that assert to be true-blue action comedies are somewhat critic-proof.

This means that even though they might end up putting off the critics, the viewers are more than ready to lap up the projects; provided that they promise a fair dose of entertainment.

However, there certainly are a lot many feature films that have managed to impress both the critics and viewers alike.

Therefore, we have tried our best to compile a list of 50 of the most admired action-comedy titles to have ever graced the screens.

Actors Angourie Rice, Matt Bomer, Margaret Qualley, Keith David, and Kim Basinger can be seen playing crucial supporting characters. The story follows a girl named Amelia, who hires a man named Healey to put March in his place.

Why? Because March is a detective who is relentlessly on her trail. However, Healey later teams up with March in order to look for Amelia after two hitmen attempt to force the former to disclose her location.

Had it not been for comparatively popular feature films such as Captain America: Civil War and Me Before You, The Nice Guys would have been able to leave a mark at the box office.

Nevertheless, this remarkably original title does make it to our list successfully.
