Mushoku Tensei might seem like another Isekai to you but the synopsis doesn’t explain the presentation aspect. The story is indeed pretty standard but that’s barely scratching the surface. In actuality, this series has fantastic details and eye-pleasing animation.

 

Studio Bind showed its best performance with this series and the narrative just adds up to the overall experience.

Either she remains homeless or takes on her divine duties. She chooses the latter and thus begins the journey of a young girl trying her best to keep to be a God.

 

However, these creatures around her aren’t going to let her be. Kamisama Hajimemashita is a series that has an interesting transition to its narrative. The major relationship developments and story progression are what make this series so special.

However, as we all know, with great power comes great responsibility. And what is that responsibility? Well, these two would soon get to know about it. Weathering With You is one of the most commercially successful anime movies of all time.

 

It earned more than a million tickets and had an earning of over a billion yen in just under 3 days. Epic right? What’s even more epic is the fact that it has won multiple awards including the Animation of the Year award at the 43rd annual Japan Academy Prize ceremony.

Now Sakura has let them escape and thus, it is her responsibility to make sure that she collects them back before it happens. Therefore, Keroberos allows Sakura to have special powers and gives her the tag of Cardcaptor.

 

Now Sakura has to try her best to save everyone from those dangerous cards while maintaining her ordinary life. This young girl is going to have an experience of her life as she goes from being a normal student to becoming Cardcaptor Sakura.

He decides to spend all this money on his daughter and make her an actual princess. Now Kaguya and her family have shifted to the capital, leaving behind their loved ones.

 

But soon Kaguya will realize the purpose and consequence of her existence. The Tale Of Princess Kaguya is one of the most visually stunning and gripping series of all time.

 

The way Studio Ghibli uses unconventional animation methods and creates this piece of art is truly commendable. It has been nominated over 20 times for multiple awards including Best Animated Feature at the 87th Academy Awards.

However, to do so, she must revolutionize the world. Utena is a series that touched upon some of the most sensitive topics back when it aired. This caused the series to be a matter of discussion for many anime fans out there.

In the grand scheme of things, this series is all that any action fan would want. It has a great plot, pretty good characters, and impressive execution.

Atsuko Chiba and Kosaku Tokita have been developing this technology with all their heart so that they can help mentally broken people. However, the reality is not as sound as you think the use of this technology has two effects.

 

A positive effect would help people live longer. But if this technology gets into the wrong hand, mind terrorism would become possible. Both of our scientists develop this technology and named it DC Mini but the DC Mini gets in the wrong hands.

 

Our couple starts to realize that something is off with the people in their surroundings and starts working for their cure. They must run across the reality and dreams of those who seem to be attacked by evil.

Not only that but he also believes that she is the one who deserves to be on the throne of his kingdom. This unique meeting doesn’t last long as Keiki was being chased by the beasts from the other side.

 

Keiki manages to send Youko to the next world amid all this fighting but he makes two major mistakes. The first one is that he transfers 2 other students from Youko’s class as well.

 

The other one is that the three girls and Keiki are completely separated. Therefore, these three humans have to survive in this completely new world on their own. If they don’t make it, death might be at the edge of it.

 

This is an action-adventure series that would give you an engaging ride in a new world.

To make sure that he doesn’t get caught, Iruma tries to stay low but things don’t work out in his favor this time. He ends up chanting a spell and gains the wrong reputation.

Fast forward to the present, we have a new big three which include Demon Slayer, My Hero Academia, and of course, Black Clover. (For all those hardcore otakus, Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man, and Hell’s Paradise are part of Dark Trinity).

 

Black Clover is an anime adaptation of a manga. The manga was written and illustrated by Tabata Yuuki. The story is set in a world where magic is omnipresent. Everybody has only one goal in their minds and that is to become the Wizard king.

 

The same mindset is held by the protagonist Asta and his brother Yuno. Yuno is a prodigy who has amazing prowess in magic and its control. Contrary to his brother, Asta has no magic.

 

Asta is possibly the only person in the entire world who doesn’t possess magical skills. However, Asta is a man with the will of steel, and therefore, he trains himself physically to become adept at magic.

 

As time passes by, the brute reality of no magic hurts Asta but he overlooks that with his pain from a pushup. One day, when magical books were being distributed amongst people, his brother ended up with the strongest book.

 

This made his brother, Yuno, look like the most potent magician. Asta on the other hand didn’t receive any books. However, during a fight with an evil individual, Asta gets his hands on Black Clover, the book that is supposed to be created from Asta’s rage.

 

Later on, Asta and Yuno defeat the evil guy and swear to become the Wizard King. This begins the journey of a man with dreams and determination to achieve what he desires.

 

Black Clover is an amazing shounen series from recent times. The title of Big Three is good enough to justify how entertaining it could be. If you want some motivating yet simple stories then Black Clover is the way to go.

 

 

49. Ascendance Of A Bookworm

 

 

 

Ascendance Of A Bookworm is a slice-of-life series with an interesting plot. It is an anime adaptation of a light novel written by Kazuki Miya and illustrated by Shiina You. It’s about a girl named Urano Motosu who has an insatiable desire for reading literature.

 

She doesn’t care what the subject is, she doesn’t care what the topic is, all she cares about is READING. And to her credit, she was about to have the greatest job for her passion, the job of a librarian.

 

However, things started to take an unknown direction when her death took place due to an accident. Her desire to read was so strong and she was so close to a perfect job and yet, she ended up with death.

 

However, as she was upset about not being able to read even when she is dying, fate takes a turn that you wouldn’t expect. She gets reincarnated as Myne, a 5-year-old in the medieval era.

 

Now just what you would expect, she began searching for books right off the bat. The moment she gains consciousness is the moment she starts looking for something to read.

 

However, we need to be more considerate here. Since this is the medieval era, printing presses are long gone and books are written with bare hands. Therefore, only nobles have access to them.

 

However, Myne will prove to the world that this situation won’t be enough to stop her. She can’t find books right? Well, she will make some herself! This is a series that would motivate you to read books hilariously.

 

The main girl is super fun to watch and the entire premise, in general, is very captivating. If you are a fan of books or a reader, in general, then this series would be a fun ride for you.

 

 

50. Rising Of The Shield Hero

 

 

 

Rising Of The Shield Hero is an anime adaptation of a light novel written by Aneko Yusagi and illustrated by Minami Seira. The story revolves around the Kingdom of Melromarc where multiple predicaments are about to take place.

 

To tackle them, 4 males from modern Japan have been brought here. All of them are given a weapon that would assist them in combat against the Waves of Catastrophe.

 

Each one of these men is given 1 weapon sword, bow, spear, and shield respectively. The protagonist, Naofumi is an otaku who also became part of this group. However, his luck runs out when he is given the shield as his weapon.

 

This makes him a subject of fun because the shield isn’t as offensive so his comrades and the kingdom residents start to belittle him. During this, Malty agrees to prepare for the battle with Naofumi.

 

However, later she tries to ruin Naofumi’s name by saying that he took advantage of her. Now Naofumi is separated from the group and has been under accusations for the deeds he hasn’t done.

 

With the sheer amount of guilt and hatred in mind, Naofumi begins his journey to becoming stronger using his shield. On his way, he hires a slave named Raphtalia, and together, they both try their level best to secure the nation from the upcoming waves.

 

But will they be able to do it with spears of their kind? This Isekai series gained massive popularity right after airing. Being Isekai directly means that it’s a fantasy but even then, it’s a series that would give you a much darker experience than what you would expect.

 

 

51. Snow White With The Red Hair

 

 

 

Snow White With The Red Hair is an anime adaptation of a manga series written and illustrated by Akizuki Sorata. The story revolves around a cheerful girl named Shirayuki who has been a citizen of the kingdom of Tanbarun.

 

However, her meeting with the prince changes her life forever. Prince of Tanbarun, Prince Raji, witnesses Shirayuki and starts wishing for her as a concubine. Being the Prince that he is, he is the individual with authority.

 

However, Shirayuki won’t be giving away her freedom at all. Instead of bowing down to the prince, she decides to escape the village and reach a better place. Therefore, she went to the neighboring village of Clarines.

 

There she was rescued from Prince Raji by Prince Zen and his aides. Now Shirayuki has an ethical debt to Zen and thus, they both start living their lives together.

 

Shirayuki searches for ways to start her new life as a Herbalist in the country of Clarines. Zen on the other hand starts his attempts to become worthy of his title of prince.

 

This entanglement between these two individuals is the beginning of a beautiful romantic journey. The premise is great and the execution is even better. No wonder it was nominated for best romance series in FUNIMATION’s Anime Of The Decade Awards.

Fairy Tail is an anime adaptation of a manga series written and illustrated by Hiro Mashima. The plot starts with a girl named Lucy Haertfilia, who wants to join the prestigious wizard guild named Fairy Tail.

 

Her dream comes true as she meets Natsu Dragneel, who is a part of the guild and lets her in because she helped him. The guild is filled with amazing and unique wizards who can also be considered misfits.

 

But they tackle every danger together and complete all the odd jobs given to them. Ice wizards named Gary, combat expert Erza Scarlet, Natsu, and Lucy go on countless adventures and prove their worth as members of the legendary guild, Fairy Tail.

 

It is a great series and has won numerous awards including Animax Asia’s Anime of the Year Award in 2010, the Best Japanese Anime Award, and the Best French Dubbing Award at the 19th Anime & Manga Grand Prix in 2012.

BNA: Brand New Animal or just BNA by Netflix is an original anime series produced by Studio Trigger and directed by Yoh Yoshinari. In this anime world, humans and Beastmen do not go well together.

 

They have conflicts and humans don’t want these humanoid animals near them. That is why these creatures have found a safe place for themselves called Anima City, which provides safety and security to the social outcasts.

 

A girl named Michiru transforms into a tanuki beastmen, and now  Shirou Ogami who is a protector of the Beastmen species sets out on an adventure to get hold of the criminals.

 

Along the journey, they also find out that Michiru might be the missing link between the humans and the Beastmen.

 

 

56. Dota: Dragon’s Blood

 

 

Dota: Dragon’s Blood is an anime adaptation of a video game named Dota 2 developed and published by Valve. It is a story of a Dragon Knight named Davion. He aims to hunt dragons to make his magical world safe for others.

 

Soon there is a battle between demons and dragons and an elder dragon merges his soul with Davion to win the battle. This starts his journey with princess Mirana to defeat the demon Terrorblade.

 

If not the demon will kill all the dragons and collect their souls. This anime is a perfect balance between fantasy and action.
