Attack On Titan is an anime adaptation of a manga written and illustrated by Hajime Isayama. The story follows a world where humongous monsters exist alongside humans. And when I say alongside, I don’t mean they live happily together, I mean that these monsters eat upon humans and are part of the ecosystem.

However, to escape from ending up dead, humanity created a wall around itself. These walls were created so that humanity can function behind them and stay away from these monsters, known as Titans.

Countless times have humans tried to bring down Titans and they do succeed. However, the ratio is miserably low making behind-the-wall stay the most efficient option. But Eren Yeager is sick of being trapped behind the wall and wishes to change his life.

However, his life changes when his town gets attacked by Titans out of nowhere, and his mother ends up losing herself. The sheer amount of anger and rage was so high in Eren that he swore to kill every last titan alive.

He joined the scout regiment to learn the techniques of killing titans and is on his way to achieving his goals. But where did the Titans come from and why are they here?

All of these questions are part of a giant puzzle. A puzzle that solves itself as time passes by. Attack On Titan is looked upon by many as the pinnacle of anime and entertainment in general.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is an anime adaptation of a manga series written and illustrated by Arakawa Hiromu. The story follows the life of two brothers, Edward Eric and Alphonse Elric, also known as the Elric brothers.

These two are known for their proficiency in Alchemy. If you guys don’t know, Alchemy is the ability to transform the shape, size, and form of an object of your own will.

In other words, you can change a light pole to a car using Alchemy. But it isn’t all-powerful as you would expect. To achieve some result, something of equal value must be given.

If that doesn’t happen, Alchemy won’t as well. That’s the law of equivalent exchange. But what is the value of a human soul? Well, it turns out that the Elric brothers are the only ones who know about it because they are the only ones who have tried checking it.

Yup, the Elric brothers committed the biggest taboo in Alchemy by trying to use it on their dead mother. However, in the process, they lost their bodies and their mother didn’t even get cured.

So now they are on a mission to bring back the bodies that they lost while doing the unthinkable. But this is not going to be easy. As they try and search for the Philosopher’s Stone, a stone that can bring their bodies back, he gets to know that the root of Alchemy and equivalent exchange is much darker and more complex than he initially thought.

Nation-wrecking things are about to happen as you watch 2 brothers show the epitome of brotherhood. As stated earlier, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is looked upon by anime fans as the ‘Perfect’ anime.

A series that has a perfect balance of action, drama, comedy, and seriousness. Blend it all in with Bones animation and you have a series that was looked upon as the best anime ever created for a long time.

It gained worldwide recognition, praise, and acclaim to the point that it felt like it was unbeatable. However, an anime summoned up that managed to outmatch Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. Still, this is one of the best fantasy anime out there and one of the best anime in general.

Mushishi is an anime adaptation of a manga written and illustrated by Urushibara Yuki. The story is set on the concept of ‘Mushi’, the most simple beings on the planet.

They are so basic that they don’t have anything as good or bad. They are just there. And their existence or information about their existence is scarce. Everything I saw here is a very rough description of an actual Mushi.

To describe them more, we need more material information. And that’s where Mushishi kicks in. Mushishis are those who dedicate their lives to studying Mushi and their reason for existence.

Mushishi Ginko has always wondered about an answer to this question and in the search for an answer, he steps out into the world. He begins his chance for rumors that could be about Mushishi and tries to study.

From what we know, this might end up giving him the meaning of life. Mushishi is calm, soothing, and slow. Unlike any shonen anime, the dynamics are low and the fantasy is brilliant.

The story progress as it takes its time and explores the world they are a part of. What are Mushi and what is the reason for their existence? These questions are answered beautifully in this series.

It won the Tokyo Anime Award in the Television category in 2006.

For any anime, especially shounen anime, there is nothing more respectful than being called the “Big Three”. For people who don’t know, the ” Big Three” is a term used for Naruto, One Piece, and Bleach at the time of their airing.

It was said that these are the anime that were ruling the markets and therefore had a name for themselves amongst anime fans. Fast forward to the present, we have a new big three which include Demon Slayer, My Hero Academia, and of course, Black Clover. (For all those hardcore otakus, Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man, and Hell’s Paradise are part of Dark Trinity).

Black Clover is an anime adaptation of a manga. The manga was written and illustrated by Tabata Yuuki. The story is set in a world where magic is omnipresent. Everybody has only one goal in their minds and that is to become the Wizard king.

The same mindset is held by the protagonist Asta and his brother Yuno. Yuno is a prodigy who has amazing prowess in magic and its control. Contrary to his brother, Asta has no magic.

Asta is possibly the only person in the entire world who doesn’t possess magical skills. However, Asta is a man with the will of steel, and therefore, he trains himself physically to become adept at magic.

As time passes by, the brute reality of no magic hurts Asta but he overlooks that with his pain from a pushup. One day, when magical books were being distributed amongst people, his brother ended up with the strongest book.

This made his brother, Yuno, look like the most potent magician. Asta on the other hand didn’t receive any books. However, during a fight with an evil individual, Asta gets his hands on Black Clover, the book that is supposed to be created from Asta’s rage.

Later on, Asta and Yuno defeat the evil guy and swear to become the Wizard King. This begins the journey of a man with dreams and determination to achieve what he desires.

Black Clover is an amazing shounen series from recent times. The title of Big Three is good enough to justify how entertaining it could be. If you want some motivating yet simple stories then Black Clover is the way to go.
