As days pass by, a few more members join. Cowboy Bebop is about the journey of these bounty hunters and their realization of this world.

 

A world that is much more complex than what we consider it to be. Filled with high-octane action and simple comic relief, Cowboy Bebop is a work that touched the hearts of thousands of old anime fans. Considered by many as The Greatest Anime out there as well as The Greatest Anime dub out there, Cowboy Bebop has made a name for itself.

 

The series gained massive popularity in the West and was considered to be the ‘Gateway Drug’ for anime-focusing adults. Not to mention, Spike won the Best Male Character In Anime Grand Prix 1999. As far as the voice acting is considered, it is impeccable.

If we talk about English dubs and we don’t talk about Baccano? That’s not possible! That’s just not possible. Baccano is a 13-episode TV series that aired back in 2007. It is an anime adaptation of a light novel. The light novel is written by Narita Ryohgo and illustrated by Enami Katsumi.

 

Explaining Baccano’s story is rather difficult. Even if you watch it, you can’t exactly tell what the actual story is. For starters, it’s about a train called Flying Pussyfoot that would be lethal for a lot of people. Filled with mafia, gangsters, thieves, and demons, Baccano is a mix.

 

Yes, it includes all of this and more. There are like 20 characters with their own backstories and such. It is insane. Overall, a beautiful mix of all the old culture stuff combined that may seem unrelated at first but actually hold a strong connection.

 

For now, I would recommend you watch it. The series is just so complex yet so good that it can’t be explained. Now, its narrative and presentation are remarkable in themselves. However, what makes this series so great for the western audience is its English dub.

 

Talents like Jewell Jerry, Riegel Sam, Glass Caitlin, and many more gave one of the most remarkable performances in the English dubbing industry. The series is based on an award-winning light novel and manages to snatch the heart of viewers well.

An incredible anime is on its way, anime fans. And I am certain that you would have heard of this one. It is the stunning Death Note. Death Note is a 37-episode TV series that aired back in 2007. It is an anime adaptation of a manga.

 

The manga was created by the duo of Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata. The story follows an incredibly bright student named Light Yagami. One day, while peeking out of his school building, he finds a weird notebook. The notebook was called ‘Death Note’ and the content inside claimed something insane.

 

The book said that anyone whose name is written on it will die. Initially thinking of it as fake, Light soon realizes that this book is legit and he can use it to kill criminals. With that intent, Light Yagami becomes the God of the new world called Kira.

 

However, to stop his actions, the world’s greatest detective, L comes into play. He tries his level best to catch Kira while Light tries his level best to escape. With their sense of justice, these masters of wit would clash in a battle of minds.

 

The smarter one would prevail and become the True Justice. Death Note is one of the most amazing anime out there. I don’t need to put much emphasis on how good it is, since most of you would have watched it.

 

However, if you haven’t watched Death Note yet, make sure to enjoy it to your heart’s content. To enhance your experience, Juliani Alessandro as Light and Swaile Brad as L gave phenomenal performances. I mean who can forget Light Yagami’s laugh?

 

 

 

4. Attack On Titan

 

 

 

Well well, if it isn’t something that many of you were waiting for. Ladies and gentlemen, it is time to talk about one of the greatest anime of all time, Attack On Titan. Attack On Titan is a 24-episode anime that aired back in 2014.

 

It is adapted from a manga written and illustrated by Hajime Isayama. In this world, there are gigantic monsters called Titans that create chaos all around. To be safe from them, humanity resides behind some walls. These walls are made to keep these titans out.

 

However, one day, they break in and destroy the human settlement. 1000s of residents die which includes Eren Yeager’s mother. With the intent of avenging his mother’s death, Eren decides to kill every last titan. To do so, he gets admitted to ‘Survey Corps’.

 

This group is responsible for the annihilation of Titans, the villains of humanity. However, are Titans the villain of humanity? Or maybe there is something else behind the curtains? With some of the most mind-blowing twists and turns, the series is something else.

 

The way this story unfolds and its methods of presentation are unreal. For many, this anime is not just anime. It’s beyond. Something that can never be witnessed ever again. Attack On Titan is one of its kind. It is a revolutionary series that is going to set a new bar for the upcoming anime.

 

As far as the voice acting is concerned,  fantastic performances are witnessed from Papenbrook Bryce as Eren, Tatum John Michael as Erwin, and many many more. If you haven’t watched Attack On Titan yet, you are missing out, on the making of a revolutionary series.

 

 

5. My Hero Academia

 

 

 

My Hero Academia is a 13-episode anime that aired back in 2016. It is adapted from a manga of the same name.

 

The manga was written and illustrated by Kohei Horikoshi. The story is set in a world where 80% of the human population has an uncanny ability. It can be spitting fire, having long fingers, a bird’s face, or anything. These abilities are called ‘Quirks’.

 

Now as you would expect, these quirks are misused by some. So to stop them, a new profession has arrived called ‘Heroes’. Heroes use their quirk to save the day. Simple right? Well, Izuku Midoriya isn’t fortunate enough to be in the 80% and was instead born without any quirk.

 

With the intent of becoming a hero someday, Izuku works hard but lack of quirk becomes a hurdle. However, this changes when the biggest hero, All Might bestows his quirk on Izuku. Now Izuku tries to enrol in the best Hero academy and become the next biggest hero.

 

Even though the narrative sounds pretty standard, the execution says otherwise. My Hero Academia wasn’t just commercially successful but also loved by a lot of fans. Christopher Sabat as All Might and Rial Monica as Tsuyu are two of my favourite VAs from the series.

 

The character personification by them is outstanding. If you want to enjoy some simple yet exciting should with a great English dub, My Hero Academia is your savior.

 

 

6. Assassination Classroom

 

 

 

How about an amazing shounen that would make your day? Sounds good? Well, you get Assassination Classroom. Assassination Classroom is 47 episode anime that started airing in 2015. It is an anime adaptation of a manga. The manga was written and illustrated by Yusei Matsui.

 

An octopus-ish creature destroys 70% of the moon in one go and decides to do the same with earth. He reaches out to Government officials and tells them about his plan. The government officials try to stop him but fail.

 

That creature has the same speed as Mach 20. With the failure of the Government, the creature gives them an offer. He wishes to become the teacher of a special class and wants to get killed by them. He promises that he won’t attack the students and instead teach them about ‘Assassination’.

 

How is this class going to kill such an incredibly fast being? Well, find out for yourself. Assassination Classroom is one of the best anime out there. The narrative, as you can see, is a bit weird. However, the way it is executed is impeccable.

 

Strait Sonny as Korosensei (that octopus) and Tindle Austin as Karma (student) are just 2 of the amazing cast of characters the series has. Every one of them did a fantastic job of impersonating the true nature of a character.

7. Dragon Ball Z

 

 

 

Dragon Ball Z is a TV series that aired back in 1989. It is adapted from a manga of the same name.

 

The manga was written and illustrated by Akira Toriyama. It’s about the life of Goku after 5 years of the World Martial Arts Tournament. He is living his life simply and peacefully. For now, he is accompanied by his son and wife.

 

However, an alien spaceship arrives that changes his life forever. Goku encounters a guy named Raditz. Raditz claims that he is Goku’s long-lost brother and that Goku was sent to Earth for a mission. His mission was to capture Earth.

 

However, due to memory loss, Goku became the kind-hearted person he is today. Even though Raditz tries his best to sway Goku, he fails nonetheless. But Raditz informs Goku’s friends that this act would cause them great trouble. Tension rises as an intergalactic war seems to be brewing.

 

The war for the 7 dragon balls is about to begin. Will Goku be able to save his loved ones? As a series itself, DBZ is revolutionary. I don’t need to inform you about how it shaped the Shounen Genre.

 

However, one of the most important aspects of DBZ that are looked over is Dub. The English dub of Dragon Ball Z was insane. The way Schemmel Sean screams as Goku transforms or fights is a work of the exceptional.

 

Even in today’s time, if you get the chance to watch Dragon Ball Z in English, make sure to do so. You would realize the amazing vibe yourself.

 

 

8. Panty And Stockings

 

 

No No No! It isn’t a cartoon network series. It is an actual anime. Yeah, surprising indeed. This 13-episode series aired back in 2010. It is an original anime directed by Imaishi Hiroyuki and animated by Studio Gainax. The story is about two sisters known as the Anarchy Sisters.

 

They are thrown out of heaven for their misconduct. Now they need to exterminate ghosts in Daten City. However, as you would expect, these girls take nothing seriously. Panty likes to sleep, and Stocking likes to eat. Moreover, their methods of extermination are a bit weird.

 

They use lingerie to fight. Yup, lingerie for combat is a rather unique approach. Overall, these two girls are led by Garterbelt in their journey to kill these ghosts but in a rather unconventional way. When it comes to amazing dubs, Panty and Stocking are up their highs.

 

These dubs are considered by many as some of the rare exceptions when dub was better than sub. This is all thanks to Rial Monica as Stocking and Marchi Jamie as Panty. Their performance was phenomenal. This one stands on the borderline between Cartoon and Anime.

 

Either way, it’s fantastic.

 

 

9. Ghost In The Shell

 

 

 

Looked upon by many as one of the best-dubbed anime series of the old days, we have Ghost In The Shell. This movie hit the TV back in 1995. It is an adaptation of its manga sister. The manga was written and illustrated by Shirow Masamune.

 

Major Motoko Kusanagi gets involved in an important case. This world is set in 2029 when technology has reached new heights. People can now replace their body parts with robotic alternatives. In this world where tech seeks no limit, a new hacker shows up.

 

He is named ‘The Puppet Master’ and commits ferocious crimes. Stopping him is of utmost importance for Major Motoko. However, this case is not as simple as it sounds. Since people can have robotic parts, the Puppet Master himself is really strong.

 

His skills are insane and this forces Makoto into the idea of introspection. She questions various aspects including the meaning of her life. However, all of her questions would be answered by the Puppet Master himself. Ghost In The Shell is a remarkable franchise that crushed it in the west.

 

With McGlynn, and Mary Elizabeth as Motoko, the voice acting team for this series did a phenomenal job. They made quite a name for the English dubs. Ghost in the Shell is amongst the most famous Japanese animated movies. It was the first movie ever to reach #1 on Billboard magazine’s video best-seller list.

 

And did I mention that it inspired Wachowskis and movies like Matrix? So yeah, Ghost In The Shell is a series that should be watched by every tech-savvy out there.

 

 

10. Demon Slayer

 

 

Demon Slayer is an anime adaptation that aired in 2019. It was adapted from a manga of the same name. The manga was written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge.

 

The story follows Tanjiro Kamado, a boy who lost his entire family because of demons. These demons attacked his home and killed all of his family members. However, his sister Nezuko Kamado somehow managed to survive but she is now a demon herself.

 

To cure his sister and bring her humanity back, Tanjiro becomes a demon slayer. Demon Slayers are professionals with the task of killing every demon. Now Tanjiro is on his journey to find a cure for his sister. But his past and his actions result in something unexpected.

 

Demon Slayer is one of the most commercially successful series of all time. Highest Manga Sales, Highest Box Office Collection, etc. These are some of the many achievements this series has. Aguilar Zach as Tanjiro and Papenbrook Bryce as Inosuke are two of the many VAs that bring in the excitement we need.

 

It’s Exciting, Emotional, and Entertaining! It has the ‘3E’s. No more reason is required to watch it.

 

 

11. Naruto

 

 

 

The childhood hero of millions of anime fans around the globe, we have Naruto. Naruto is a classic shounen anime that started airing back in 2002. It is an anime adaptation of a manga. The manga was written and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto.

 

Several years ago, a nine-tailed fox attacked the village of Konohagakure. To save the village from this miserable creature, the fourth Hokage of the village sacrificed his life and sealed this fox. However, this fox was sealed in the body of a boy named Naruto.

 

After growing up, Naruto is a knucklehead ninja that seeks attention. This is because the village was afraid of him. It was rumored that the nine-tailed fox within him can be lethal and thus Naruto was left out as a child.

 

Despite such a depressing childhood, Naruto always lives his life with a ray of hope and a smile on his face. Now he wishes to be the Hokage of the village by becoming the strongest ninja. On his journey, he finds some of his best friends and worst enemies.

 

Come on guys, if you haven’t watched Naruto yet, what are you doing? Yeah, I know it’s a bit long but hey, it’s worth it. And if you wish to watch it in English then don’t worry. Because Flanagan Maile as Naruto and Dave Wittenberg is here to give you the best experience.

 

Seriously, if you have just a bit of time this weekend or anytime soon, make sure to watch at least a few episodes of Naruto. The franchise is incredible.

Now we are going to discuss an anime that is looked upon by many as ‘Perfect’. Indeed, it’s time to talk about the fantastic Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. This 64-episode TV anime aired back in 2007. It is an anime adaptation of a manga.

 

The manga was written and illustrated by Arakawa Hiromu. The story follows the concept of Alchemy, the value of equivalent exchange. To get something, something of equal value must be given. However, what is equal to the price of a soul?

 

Edward and Alphonse Elric are soon going to find out. They tried to bring back their dead mother using alchemy but ended up losing their own body. With the intent of getting their bodies back, Edward and Alphonse begin their journey.

 

A journey to find the Philosopher’s Stone. However, the truth about Philosopher’s Stone and the world they live in is about to be explored. Something much worse than what they would expect. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is one of the most loved anime series of all time.

 

Considered by many as a ‘Perfect Anime’, this series had a massive name in the west. The voice performance of Mignogna Vic as Edward, and Willingham Travis as Roy Mustang is incredible. Another anime shouldn’t miss your ‘Completed Anime’ list at any cost.

 

 

13. One Piece

 

 

 

There’s absolutely no way that you spent even a week in the anime community and haven’t heard of One Piece. Like No! That’s just not possible. It’s THAT popular. One Piece is an anime of the old gen running even in the new gen.

 

Probably, it will run in the future gen as well. This anime is adapted from its Manga counterpart. The manga was written and illustrated by Oda Eiichiro. The story is about a pirate named Luffy who wishes to find the greatest treasure in the world called One Piece.

 

The old pirate king named Gol. D. Roger claims that this treasure will fulfill all of your dreams. With the intent to find it, Luffy and his crew begin their sail toward the Grand Line. As they come across more and more islands, they meet more and more people.

 

Some are enemies while some are friends. This journey keeps on continuing to this day! One Piece is insane. Oda sensei somehow managed to make this series such a banger. Even to this day, the franchise is considered to be one of the best.

 

The manga sales were skyrocketing and the anime is STILL going on. Amazing voices like Clinkenbeard Colleen as Luffy, and Christopher Sabat as Zoro bring even more excitement to the series. If you have time and wish to see something incredible, One Piece is for you man!

 

 

14. Steins; Gate

 

 

Yo my Christopher Nolan fans, where are you at? We are going to take a look at one of the best time travel series of all time, Steins Gate. This 24-episode anime hit the TV back in 2011. It is an anime adaptation of a light novel.

 

The anime is directed by Hamasaki Hiroshi and animated by Studio White Fox. The story revolves around Okabe Rintarou who has a lab in Akihabara. This self-proclaimed mad scientist tries to create revolutionary future gadgets. However, to this day, he has only been able to make a microwave that morphs bananas into a green gel substance.

 

His team members include his childhood friend Mayuri and a hacker named ‘Daru’. These 3 spend their time in the lab with peace all along. However, this changes when suddenly they realize that this microwave can send messages to the future.

 

Now with the ability to mess with time using this microwave, how will Okabe and his team react to this insane strength? The strength that can shape their lives forever. Steins Gate is amazing. I can’t say anything more. One of the best direction works in anime along with a great narrative.

 

Tatum John Michael as Okabe and Padoan Eva as Mayuri bring in the beautifully dark tone the series needs. If you haven’t watched It, man you are missing out.

 

 

15. Tokyo Ghoul

 

 

 

Now then, if we talk about popularity itself, I don’t think anyone can forget the renowned Tokyo Ghoul. Tokyo Ghoul is a TV anime that aired back in 2014. It is an anime adaptation of a manga of the same name.

 

The manga was written by Sui Ishida. A large number of vampire-like creatures have invaded the city of Tokyo. These creatures are known as ‘Ghouls’ and they are a threat to humanity. Our boy Kaneki Ken is a simple one who was approached by a girl and wanted to date her.

 

However, the date didn’t quite go as planned. Turns out that the girl Kaneki wanted to date was an incredibly strong ghoul who ends up eating Kaneki. However, an accident leads to Kaneki surviving that ghoul. The downside? Well, Kaneki himself got converted into a ghoul.

 

Now in this world with Ghouls, Kaneki holds to humanity as hard as possible. However, destiny has something else in store for him. Clark Leah as Kaneki and Palencia Brina as Touka did a fantastic job of bringing more darkness into the story.

 

Tokyo Ghoul is one of the most popular series of its time. Considered by many as one of the best dark series out there, it can please many fans including you. It is known for its crazy list of characters and a huge fan base.

 

 

16. Psycho-Pass

 

 

 

All those who love their hi-tech stuff, I have good news for you. Managing to make such a high spot on our list, we have Psycho-Pass. Psycho-Pass is an original anime that hit the TV in 2012. This 22-episode-long original anime was directed by Shiotani Naoyoshi and animated by Production I.

 

G. The story is about Akane Tsunemori who possesses a true sense of justice. In the world that she resides in, people are judged based on their criminal intent. To do so, they have to use a metric called Psycho-Pass.

 

There are inspectors and enforcers. Inspectors are the officers who ensure that there’s no ill intent. Whereas, enforcers are individuals who have thought about crimes but haven’t committed them. Now Akane wishes to be an inspector and joins a veteran enforcer named Shinya Kougami.

 

This meeting leads Akane to witness the other side of this system. This system and idea of justice are not as accurate as she thinks and soon she realized why. The voice acting in Psycho-Pass is damn good. McCollum Robert as Shinya and Oxley Kate as Akane work wonders 8n this dub.

17. Your Lie In April

 

 

 

So you are having a fun day huh? Want some depression? Well, here you have it! Your lie in April is one of the most appreciated series from 2014. It is adapted from a manga written and illustrated by Arakawa Naoshi.

 

It’s about the life of Kousei Arima, a man who lost his mother. Therefore, he also lost hope in life. Being a piano prodigy, music had always been a great part of his life but his mother’s death turned the way.

 

However, this brutal life of my man changed when he met Kaori Miyazono. Kaori was a beautiful violinist who showed Kousei a new way of life. Thereon begins the good times of Kousei with Kaori as he recovers and discovers the beauty of music.

 

They also develop a rather interesting relationship. Music anime has always needed some great voice actors. And with Mittleman Max as Kousei and Lindbeck Erica as Kaori, this criterion is taken care of. If you want some amazing music-based anime that can make your eyes ball out then make sure to watch Your Lie In April.

 

 

18. Yu Yu Hakusho

 

 

 

Oh my, are we on a ‘Classic’ marathon? Because we have yet another amazing 1 of them. Yu Yu Hakusho is a 112-episode TV series that aired back in 1992. It is an anime adaptation of a manga of the same name.

 

The manga was written and illustrated by Togashi Yoshihiro. The story focuses on Yuusuke Urameshi, a man who has never learned any manners. He is somewhat of a delinquent who was almost confirmed to have a negative afterlife. However, his death was for a rather positive cause.

 

He died in an accident while saving a boy. Impressed by his act, the Spirit realm gives him an opportunity. The spirit realm acknowledges that his act is worth noting and blesses him with a chance. A chance to bring back his life.

 

To do so, Yuusuke must kill evil spirits and save humanity. With that objective, Yuusuke along with his team begin their journey. On their journey, they train and become stronger for the sake of humans. Yu Yu Hakusho is another anime of the olden days that had a fantastic English dub.

 

Cook Justin as Yuusuke and Thornton Kirk as Hiei are some of the great voice actors in this anime. Their performance was stunning. This is a classic so I don’t think I need to tell you why you should watch it.

 

 

19. Samurai Champloo

 

 

 

Classics are on their way weebs! One of the most outstanding anime out there summoned up. Samurai Champloo is a 26-episode series that aired back in 2004. It’s an original series directed by Watanabe Shinichiro and animated by Manglobe. The series is set in the Edo period with Fuu, Mugen, and Jin.

 

Fuu was a waitress who accidentally spilled a drink on one of her customers. However, the customer tried to harass her. To save her, a samurai named Mugen enters the battle and beats the opponent. However, he ended up messing up with Jin, a samurai who has a precise fighting style.

 

Now, they both engage in a fight and end up destroying the place and also, killing the local magistrate. To pay for their crime, they are supposed to be executed. However, Fuu hires both of them as bodyguards and escapes.

 

Now with the intent of finding a special samurai, Fuu seeks Mugen and Jin’s assistance. Therefore, the 3 of them begin their journey to find that warrior. Moreover, this journey is filled with high-octane action, hip-hop music, and hilarious adventures.

 

Blum Steven as Mugen and Wahlgren Kari as Fuu bring more excitement to the series. If you want to enjoy some great classic anime that would excite you to the brink, make sure to watch Samurai Champloo.

 

 

20. Re: Zero

 

 

We have one of the most loved Isekai series of all time, Re: Zero. Re: Zero is a dark fantasy anime that aired back in 2016. It is an anime adaptation of its light novel counterpart.

 

The light novel was written by Nagatsuki Tappei. You know the drill. A guy named Natsuki Subaru gets teleported into a new world instantaneously. Right after he arrives in this new world, he ends up in a conflict. He manages to escape the conflict thanks to a girl named Satella.

 

To pay back for help, Subaru gets himself involved with Satella. However, this involvement would lead to some of the worst nightmares for Subaru. Therefore, his life is about to change as he is in this new world. What does this mysterious world have in store for him?

 

Well, let’s just say it’s horrible. Re: Zero was one of the most remarkable Isekai that aired back in the day. And with the sequel out in 2020, the series has gained even bigger fandom. Chiplock Sean as Subaru and Mills Kayli as Satella perform well in the series.

 

If you like a dark, horrifying take on an Isekai, this one is a must-watch.

 

 

21. Code Geass

 

 

It’s time for big-brain ladies and gentlemen. We are going to discuss Code Geass now! Code Geass is one of the most successful series of the mid-2000s that is talked about to this day. It is an original anime that was directed by Taniguchi Gorou and animated by Studio Sunrise.

 

The story is about Lelouch Lamperouge and his journey to take revenge on Brittania for its deeds. Japan, now known as Area 11, gets attacked by Brittania with the intent of capture. In this commotion, Lelouch gets caught but manages to escape thanks to CC.

 

CC gave him a mech suit and using it, Lelouche aims to take care of Brittania. Code Geass is a series that had its name in the mainstream for both Japan and North America. The series is still considered one of the best and is talked about even in this generation.

 

Bosch Johnny Yong as Lelouche and Higgins Kate as CC add the thrill that the series needs. The series claimed the “Best Anime TV Series” award in 2007. It also bagged the “The Best TV animation” award and “The Most Popular Anime” award respectively.

Ahh! Complexity is about to rise as we enter the fate series! Fate Zero is a 13-episode TV series that aired in 2011. It is an anime adaptation of a light novel. The light novel was written by Urobuchi Gen.

 

The story is set in a world where a wish would be granted. It would be granted by a Holy Grail and it triggers a war. Not once, not twice, but three times. Yes, three wars due to this Holy grail, and every war was so brutal that it had no absolute winner.

 

Now the Einzbern family believes that the 4th war would lead to a different outcome. Therefore, they form a contract with the “Magus Killer”, Kiritsugu Emiya. He is now in a position where he has to battle 6 more people.

 

Each of them possesses a familiarity with special abilities. Kiritsugu has his familiar name, Saber. Now, this hunter has to face some of the most difficult challenges in this brutal situation. The Fate Series is another franchise that gained critical acclaim.

 

Ruff Michelle as Saber and Thornton Kirk as Kiritsugu give more boost to the series. If you are a fan of Ufotable because of Demon Slayer or Kara No Kyokai, then make sure to watch Fate Zero.

 

 

23. The Devil Is A Part-Timer

 

 

 

My Isekai fans, where are you? We are going to lay our eyes on an entertaining Isekai this time. Or should I say ‘Reverse Isekai’? The Devil Is A Part-Timer is an anime adaptation of its Light Novel sister. The light novel was written by Wagahara Satoshi.

 

The story focuses on a Demon Lord Satan who was on his way to conquer Ente Isla. However, he was forced to step back because of hero Emilia. While he was retreating, he accidentally ends up in the human world along with his army general.

 

With that, my man, the almighty, is now in a world where he can do absolutely nothing. Since magic doesn’t exist on Earth, my man is unable to be the Satan he is. Therefore, with the intent of surviving, he takes a job at a fast-food restaurant chain.

 

The Devil Is A Part-Timer is a series that shows some of the most simple tasks in the most hilarious ways. Paying bills or incurring expenses, everything has much more fun involved in it than what meets the eye. Grille Josh as Maou Sadao and Angelle Felecia as Yusa Emie bring in the fun this franchise needs.

 

If you are bored with your monotonous life and want something new, then this anime should be your pick.

 

 

24. High School DxD

 

 

 

Testing our culture with its narrative, the next entry in High School DxD. This ecchi series is looked upon as one of the best that the industry has to offer. It’s an adaptation of a light novel. The light novel was written by Ishibumi Ichiei and illustrated by Miyama-Zero.

 

The story is about Issei Hyoudou, a pervert whose lust capacity is over 9000. He takes admitted to a school with an extremely high boys-to-girl ratio. Even though his image in this school wasn’t the best, he certainly makes a name for himself.

 

With the despair of not having a girlfriend, Hyoudou Issei meets a girl on his way back home. Turns out that the girl likes Issei and wants to go out on a date with him. However, the truth is that Girl is a fallen angel who wants to kill Issei.

 

It was too late when Issei realizes that he had been cheated. However, his death was undone by Rias Gremory who is a devil. She gives him a new life as her devil servant. Thereon begins the journey of Hyodou Issei to live his life as the best devil possible and have his harem.

 

His biggest dream? Well, to become the Harem King! As far as the voice acting is concerned, High School DxD is fantastic. During Behind the Voice Actors Awards, Jamie Marchi won “Best Female Lead Vocal Performance in an Anime Television Series/OVA” in 2014.

 

The franchise is also crowned “Best Vocal Ensemble in an Anime Television Series/OVA” in 2015 for season 2. So yeah, if you want to enjoy some great ecchi in English, High School DxD should be your next.

Another Madhouse Magic has made its way to the list, guys. It’s Claymore this time. This TV anime aired back in 2007. It is an anime adaptation of a manga written and illustrated by Yagi Norihiro. The series follows the life of Raki who lost his family.

 

The thing is, a shapeshifting monster called Youma, makes its way to Raki’s Village. Now to kill this Youma, Claymore arrives. What is a Claymore you may ask? Well, Claymore is a half-human and half-Youma with the idea of killing these Youmas.

 

Now Raki has lost his home so he decides to follow Claymore. This Claymore is named Clare and her company is taken by Raki. Now, Raki and Clare wander from village to village with the idea of killing every monster.

 

On their way, they realize more about themselves as well as their morals. Stephanie Young as Clare and Todd Haberkorn as Raki bring more vibes to the series. If you are a fan of Madhouse works, then you should check out Claymore.

 

Just a little trivia, Claymore is one of the most appreciated Manga series. Have fun!

Are all anime set in Japan? Well, NO! And Black Lagoon is a great example of that. This 12-episode anime series is a work of Madhouse. It is adapted from a manga written and illustrated by Hiroe Rei. The story is set in Roanapur, Thailand.

 

This place specifically is known for its merciless activities that take place within. Even someone as noble as church authority can’t escape the mercenaries and their actions. Rokurou Okajima, a typical businessman, gets involved in this. He was on a business trip when BAM!

 

A group of mercenaries called Black Lagoon caught him. With the intent to have some cash for his exchange, the group keeps him alive. However, no one comes to save my man, and thus, the mercenary’s plan fails. Now, Rokurou decides to stay in Black Lagoon.

 

However, this shift from a simple life to an exhilarating one would be difficult. This is one of the most popular series outside of Japan. A lot of people watched it on their TVs and loved it. The English Voice Acting of every character is great.

 

Especially Hendrikse Marÿke as Revy. If you want some exciting action seinen with the touch of Madhouse, you can ensure so by watching Black Lagoon.

 

 

27. Noragami

 

 

 

Now there, what do we have here? One of the most loved series huh? Weebs, we are going to discuss a great one now. Noragami is an anime adaptation of a manga of the same name. The manga was written and illustrated by Adachitoka.

 

The story is about a Stray God named Yato who wishes to become the most popular one. In this world, Gods aren’t ONE or Absolute. Just like humans, Gods have to work their way up and improvise to survive. That can only be done if they have many followers.

 

Here, a God is known by the number of followers he has. Thus, Yato wishes to become the one everybody can look up to. But his methods of attaining that are certainly different. You see, Yato leaves his phone number on the walls and roads so people can ask him for help.

 

This gives him the name of Delivery God. On his journey to his shrine, Yato meets Yukine and Hiyori. Now the adventure of these three in this exciting world begins. But Yato’s past is a major concern. What exactly is that?

 

Well, you have to find out for yourself. Liebrecht Jason as Yato and Apprill Bryn as Hiyori bring more flavor to the series. Want some fun and exciting shounen? Well, you just read about it!

Misaki Ayuzawa is an ideal student who became a part of a special school. You see, the school that she became a part of was boys-only. However, the school recently shifted to Co-ed and Misaki was the first female president.

 

Being the first female president of the student council, she bestows some strict ideas and rules on other students. However, she has been disobeying a rule for a long time. Her family is facing some financial problems and to aid that, she has been working in a maid cafe.

 

This little secret remains alive until something happens. The most popular guy in the school named Usui comes to know that Misaki is working as a maid. Now Usui can report it to school. But instead, he uses this secret to spend more time with her and come closer.

 

This is one of the shoujo series that can be appreciated by almost anyone. To top it all up, Matranga David as Usui and Rial Monica as Misaki add more fun to it. If you are new to the shounen genre and want some great pieces, this anime might be the way to go.

The manga was written and illustrated by Cool-Kyou Shinja. The series revolves around a programmer named Kobayashi who comes across a dragon named Tooru. Tooru claims that Kobayashi saved her life and that she wants to spend the rest of it, serving her savior.

 

However, since she is a dragon, her methods of management are rather unconventional. Sometimes, she ends up creating more trouble than help. Either way, the appearance of dragons is a rare occurrence in itself. Thus, the background of this incident is quite complex.

 

Not to mention, it includes Tooru’s painful memories. And did I mention that Tooru’s presence brings in, more monsters? So yeah, Kobayashi is going to have some of the most absurd days of her life. This slice-of-life comedy series is a watch that many admire from the depths of their heart.

 

Wiedenheft Sarah as Tooru and Clark Leah as Kobayashi bring more flow into the series. Thus, if a cute slice of life is your stuff then Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid is also your stuff.

 

 

30. Kill La Kill

 

 

 

Starting the new phase of our list, we have an original anime named Kill la Kill. This 24-episode TV series aired back in 2013. It was directed by Imaishi Hiroyuki and animated by the renowned Studio Trigger. The story is about Ryuuko Matoi who seeks her father’s murderer.

 

With the intent to follow the lead she has, Matoi reaches a school. A school that is ruled by the student council president. The president of the student council bestows a special uniform called ‘Goku Uniform’ to some exceptional students.

 

These uniforms give insane abilities to the person wearing them. After losing to one of these uniform holders, Matoi returns home. All of a sudden, she comes across a special uniform as well. After recognizing Matoi’s blood, the suit accepts her and bam!

 

She becomes superhuman herself. Now Matoi returns to school with only 1 aim. The aim of asking the president about her father’s death once and for all. This original anime made its name in the mainstream almost instantly! The series has received multiple awards including FUNIMATION’s Best Original Anime Of The Decade.

 

Mendez Erica as Matoi and Keranen Carrie as President bring in the dub performance that the show needed.

 

 

31. Owari No Seraph

 

 

 

This list is filled with series that are/were the talk of the town. One of those popular series was Owari No Seraph. This 12-episode anime is animated by the renowned WIT Studio. It is an anime adaptation of a manga series written by Kagami Takaya and Furuya Daisuke.

 

The story follows a world with vampires and humans living in the same world. Their coexistence is not for the better though. A mysterious virus took out the majority of humanity from 13 years and above. However, those who somehow survived, indulge themselves in claiming their land back.

 

This virus was spread due to vampires and thus, surviving humans wish to avenge them. The kids below 13 years were held hostage by the vampires and used for blood cravings. Yuuichirou Hyakuya somehow escapes the vampires but loses his family forever.

 

With the idea of revenge in mind, Yuu trains with humans to kill every vampire in existence. However, the higher authorities of the human race have different plans. This series was also really well received in the English dub department.

 

Thanks to Solusod Micah as Yuu and Briner Justin as Mika. So you like your action, adventure shounen? I wonder if you have watched Owari No Seraph yet.

 

 

32. Madoka Magica

 

 

 

 

Magical Girls troupe is a popular one amongst anime fans. And the one series that has had a rather twisty approach toward this is Madoka Magica. This original series aired back in 2011. It was directed by Shinbou Akiyuki and animated by Studio Shaft!

 

The series focuses on two simple high school girls named Madoka Kaname and Sayaka Miki. They were living their ordinary life with no issues until the unexpected happened. They met a cat-ish familiar named Kyubey and a transfer student named Homura Akemi.

 

Kyubey offers to have one wish granted to these girls. However, in return, they have to become magical girls. On the surface, magical girls might seem like a way to go but it’s much different than what meets the eye.

 

What exactly is the price one has to pay for getting her to wish granted? This is one of the most critically acclaimed series that sold over 50,000 copies of BD! That’s a lot! To solidify a great experience, Valenzuela Cristina as Akemi and Cabanos Christine Marie as Madoka are present.

 

If you wish to see a completely new approach to the subgenre of Magical Girls, Madoka Magica is the way for you.

 

 

33. The Seven Deadly Sins

 

 

Set in a world reminiscent of the European Middle Ages, the powerful Holy Knights of Britannia utilize magic to safeguard the realm and its kingdoms.

 

However, rumours persist about the “Seven Deadly Sins,” a group of knights accused of treachery against their homeland. A decade later, the Holy Knights orchestrate a coup, becoming tyrannical rulers of the Kingdom of Liones.

 

Drawing inspiration from the acclaimed manga series, Nanatsu no Taizai follows the journey of Elizabeth, the third princess of Liones, as she embarks on a quest to locate the Seven Deadly Sins.

 

By enlisting their help, she seeks to reclaim her kingdom from the oppressive Holy Knights and establish justice in a world plagued by unfairness.

Very rarely do we talk about romance and forget about Toradora! Let’s take a deeper look at it. This anime is an adaptation, as you would expect. It’s from a light novel this time. The light novel was written by Takemiya Yuyuko and illustrated by Yasu.

 

The series talks about Ryuuji Takasu who is a softie. He likes housework but is usually considered a delinquent due to his looks. On the other hand, we have Taiga Aisaka. A cute, shorty who seems calm but has a furious personality.

 

This gives her the name Palmtop Tiger. One day, these two students meet each other. It turns out that Ryuuji realizes that Taiga has a soft side and she has a crush on Ryuuji’s best friend. Moreover, Ryuuji also has a crush on someone.

 

And that person just so happens to be Taiga’s best friend. Now, these 2 weirdos try to help each other out with their crushes and form a rather odd relationship. The couple formed by Ryuuji and Taiga has been appreciated all around.

 

Kimerer Erik as Ryuuji and Morris Cassandra Lee as Taiga add even more personality to it. If romance is one of your favorite genres, then this anime has to hit your heart!

 

 

35. The Quintessential Quintuplets

 

 

 

Now we are going to focus on some new-gen anime guys. A pause to the old-school stuff for now. How about a harem? Does it excite you? Well, if it’s The Quintessential Quintuplets, it might very well do. This gigantic named series is based on a manga written by Negi Haruba.

 

The series aired back in 2019 and has got a sequel as of the time I am writing this. The story is about Fuutarou Uesugi who is an exceptional student with a rather unpleasant personality. Therefore, my man doesn’t have any friends.

 

That’s sad! Do you know what’s sadder? His father is in debt and he has to pay for it! Therefore, seeking a job is of utmost priority to him. However, one day, he was arguing with a girl named Itsuki who allegedly took his seat in the school.

 

Later on, thanks to Fuutarou’s amazing scores, he gets a job offer. The job offer was from a wealthy family paying a great sum for tutoring their daughters. However, things turn out pretty bad as Fuutarou finds out that the girl is Itsuki.

 

Not to mention, she has four other sisters making it much more of a challenging task. Thus, my man has to take care of his social life as well as the mess he has gotten himself into. This might turn into a nightmare.

 

This anime is a fresh installment in the anime industry and made a great name for itself. Angela Felecia as Miku, Ballard Tia as Itsuki, and many other English voices make this anime a great experience. If you love your harem genre and want to enjoy it in good English, then this anime should be in front of your pupils.

 

 

36. Suzumiya Haruhi

 

 

Another classic is on its way, weebs! This time, we are talking about The Melancholy Of Suzumiya Haruhi. This anime aired back in 2006. Yup, it’s old. It’s the same as Ouran High School Host Club. This anime is based on a light novel written by Nagaru Tanigawa.

 

The series focuses on a student named Kyon. He has given up on the thought of the ‘Supernatural’. In other words, he doesn’t believe in the idea of supernatural stuff anymore. That is until he meets Haruhi Suzumiya. Haruhi has a curious mind that only revolves around supernatural thoughts like aliens, espers, time travelers, etc.

 

Now, in high school, you know that a club is essential. However, Haruhi’s linings don’t match any club. Therefore, Kyon asks her to make her club. With this idea set in place, Kyon and Haruhi form a club named SOS Brigade that talks about nothing but supernatural stuff.

 

Thereon begins the journey of SOS Brigade and its search for some of the most unreal stuff out there. The adventure is much different than your expectations. Haruhi Suzumiya is said to be a revolutionary anime of its dub. Lee Wendee as Haruhi and Freeman Crispin as Kyon add this thought in the minds of the viewers.

 

If you wish to watch some old-school supernatural, mystery then Haruhi Suzumiya must be the next. Also, don’t forget to watch the movie.

 

 

37. Ouran High School Host Club

 

 

 

“WISH WE COULD TURN BACK TIME, TO THE GOOD OLD DAYS.” And get a chance to watch this anime as it was being broadcasted. Next up, is the favorite for many veterans, Ouran High School Host Club. This 25-episode TV anime is based on a manga of the same name.

 

The manga was written and illustrated by Hatori Bisco. The series revolves around a host club in Ouran High School. Wow, who would have guessed? Anyway, the Ouran Academy is for the richest of the rich. However, Haruhi Fujioka is an exceptional student who gets admission because of her grades.

 

Problems start the moment she enters as she ends up breaking an expensive vase. Because of that, she ends up becoming a part of the Host Club to recover the payment. However, her appearance is that of a boy and thus, she tricks every other girl.

 

With the other members of the Host Club, Haruhi begins her journey as a host and pleases almost every woman. But on this journey, she had some of the most remarkable experiences of her school life. Ouran High School Host Club is one of the series that is appreciated for its dub even to this day.

 

In the good old days when getting great dubs was a pain, Ouran High Host Club showed a ray. A ray of hope that the industry was improving. With Mignogna Vic and Glass Caitlin as lead voice actors, the series made its name.

 

If you like some BL romance stuff that’s funny and entertaining, then this anime shouldn’t miss your scout.

 

 

38. Barakamon

 

 

 

Barakamon is your comedy, slice-of-life series. The anime is based on a web manga of the same name. The web manga was written and illustrated by Yoshino Satsuki.

 

It’s about a man named Seishuu Handa who is a talented Calligrapher. Unfortunately, his arrogance is beyond the roof as well. When one of the veteran calligraphers ridiculed his award-winning artworks, Handa lost his mind. To introspect upon his actions, his father sends him to a Goto village.

 

This village is filled with energetic people who initially disturb the hell out of Handa. But eventually, these same people show him the path to his style. This is the journey of Seishuu Handa as he grasps the meaning of originality and personification from a lifestyle he never admitted he would admire.

 

McCollum Robert and his English voice as Seishuu Handa bring the theme that we want from this series. The emotions are portrayed beautifully as you would expect from a Slice-of-life. If the synopsis gives you the vibe, make sure to go for it!

 

 

39. Sword Art Online

 

 

 

Time to talk about some sweet sweet Isekai! And if we are talking about Isekai, how can we NOT talk about one of the most popular Isekai of all time, Sword Art Online? Hitting the TV in 2012, Sword Art Online is an anime adaptation of a Light Novel.

 

The light novel was written by Kawahara Reki and illustrated by BUNBUN. The series is set in 2022, the era when virtual reality has taken over. The experience of gaming has reached some astonishing boundaries. Kazuto Kirigaya aka Kirito is a fortunate kid who gets his hands on Sword Art Online.

 

Now this game is developed using Nerve Gear technology that allows anyone to play the game with their thoughts! That’s it! Thoughts! Excited to try this out, Kirito logs in to this game but soon realizes that he can’t log out.

 

Turns out that the creator of the game has tricked him and 10,000 more players in this world called Aincard. They MUST complete the 100 levels of this game. To make things even more insane, Death in-game results in Death in real life.

 

With such an unrealistic yet truly terrible situation, Kirito must make some friends to escape from this game alive. Isekai has always been a genre that pleases A LOT of people. English dubs by Papenbrook Bryce as Kirito and Leigh, and Cherami as Asuna add more entertainment to the overall series.

 

This anime is something that shouldn’t be skipped if you are new to the anime medium.

 

 

40. K-On

 

 

Do you like Slice of life? Do you like Cute Girls Doing Cute Things? Are you a Moe fan? If any of these questions made you say ‘Yes’, then K-On is an anime for you. This anime series aired back in 2009.

 

It was an adaptation of a Manga of the same name. The manga was written and illustrated by Kakifly. The series focuses on Yui Hirasawa as she begins her new school year. Now you know the drill, if it’s a school year, then it’s an opportunity for club joinings.

 

The confusion to select a club, Yui stumbles across the Light Music Club. She thinks that it was about playing simple instruments but it wasn’t. Being inexperienced, Yui decides to leave the club immediately. However, she is stopped by the club members.

 

This is because the club members don’t have enough members to run a club. And lack of members means the death of the club. Therefore, these girls try their level best to make sure that Yui stays in. Thus embarks the journey of these cute girls doing their cute musical stuff, because why not?

 

Slice of life has its appeal. And if you add more to it then it’s a whole different entertainment. This series has such an amazing story presentation that it won the Best TV Animation Award in 2010. The cast is filled with females and so are the voice actors.

 

Valenzuela Cristina, Sheh Stephanie, and Cabanos Christine Marie to name a few. If you are a fan of this type of slow and adorable series then K-On must be your next.

 

 

41. Redline

 

 

 

Redline is a Madhouse animated movie directed by Koike Takeshi and written by Enokido Youji. The series is widely acknowledged for its extreme production time of 7 years.

 

The narrative, on the other hand, is rather simple. An intergalactic race called Redline takes place every 5 years. This is one of the most anticipated competitions and attracts a massive number of participants. The rules for this competition are none.

 

The thrilling experience of the competition is all that matters. This thrill is specifically known by driver JP. Driver JP wishes to take part in this race alongside the only other human Sonoshee McLarenm. With the core idea of victory and fun in his mind, driver JP begins his task of conquering the Redline.

 

The greatness of this series lies in the amount of sheer excitement and exhilaration that a viewer receives. Just a little Trivia for you, Redline had over 100,000 frames in production. So yeah, in terms of effort, this movie is amazing.

 

Seitz Patrick as JP and Ruff Michelle as Sonoshee Mc Laren bring more excitement to the series. Thus, if you wish to enjoy a thrilling experience in the anime medium, Redline should hit your watchlist NOW!

 

 

42. Erased

 

 

 

The character drama is a blessing for many anime watchers. And if you are one of them then this anime might be a blessing for you as well. Erased is an anime adaptation of a manga. The manga is called Boku Dake Ga Inai Machi and is written and illustrated by Sanbe Kei.

 

The series is focused on Satoru Fujinuma who loses his mother due to an accident. However, the cause of her death was murder. Satoru is blessed with an amazing ability he calls ‘Revival’. To put it simply, revival means that right before a tragic event occurs, Satoru replays that time segment again.

 

This allows him to acknowledge the potential happening of a mishap and stop it. Using this ability that allows him to somewhat time travel, Satoru decides to know the truth about the murder. However, his childhood was filled with another major regret that he had all his life.

 

With this special technique, Satoru wishes to overcome his regret and know about his mom’s actual killer. The narrative of the series is so interesting that no one can afford to ignore it. The erased manga was nominated for the 7th, 8th, and 9th Manga Taisho awards.

 

In these awards, it ranked 2nd, 4th, and 4th respectively. Ohh, and did I mention that it was also nominated for the 18th Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize Reader Awards? Moreover, it appeared on Kono Manga ga Sugoi! Rankings from 2014 to 2016 in the male category.

 

Add up Ruff Michelle as Satoru Fujimuma and Sheh Stephanie and Bam! You have an amazing drama series that you wouldn’t wanna miss at all!

 

 

43. The Rising Of The Shield Hero

Seinen is always a great installment to anyone’s watchlist. And if your watchlist is about dubs, then this seinen must be under your radar. Indeed, we are talking about the fantastic Parasyte: The Maxim. Parasyte hit the TVs back in 2014.

 

It is a work based on Iwaaki Hitoshi’s Manga named Parasyte. The anime was directed by Shimizu Kenichi and animated by Studio Madhouse. The story is about a parasitic alien species that makes its way onto Earth. The core feature of these aliens is that they can control the mind of the individual they attack.

 

If they attack Mr. X, he would lose complete control of his body and become prey. However, luck was on Shinichi Izumi’s side when he was attacked. You see, while all the other parasites attack and conquer the hosts’ brains, Izumi was able to escape.

 

Migi, the creature that attacked Izumi, was unable to control his brain. Thus Migi ends up being in his hands instead. Now that Izumi has a supposedly new friend, tension starts to rise. Why you may ask? Because these parasites have no limit to their hunger and would eradicate this new being.

 

The being that exists in the form of Migi And Izumi together. Thus begins the journey of these 2 who met with an accident, however, lead a path that they never expected. It’s one of the series that made quite a name for itself back when it was airing.

45. Charlotte

 

 

 

Magically teleporting for our next entry, we have Charlotte. The traces of this TV series can be witnessed back in 2015. It is directed by Asai Yoshiyuki and written by Maeda Jun. The story is concentrated on Yuu Otosaka, a student who excels in exams.

 

However, the reason for his excellent work is his supernatural ability. Yuu can transfer his consciousness into someone else’s body for 5 seconds. This allowed him to pass the exams with flying colors. Thus, he ends up in a prestigious school.

 

Pretty handy right? Well, not so handy because soon enough, Nao Tomori gets her eyes on Yuu. She catches Yuu using his powers and asks him to join Hoshinoumi Academy. Hoshinoumi Academy is the actual school for him. It’s an Academy for special students like Yuu.

 

A place where his ability is not so outstanding. Nao is now (wow) the president of the Student Council and asks Yuu to join the club. The club’s core principle is to stop the students in Hoshinoumi Academy who are misusing their powers.

 

Thereon embarks the journey of Yuu and Nao as they encounter such students and show them their place. Meanwhile, Yuu also realizes that his ability might be way stronger than he initially thought. Maeda Jun is the man behind Angel Beats, and Clannad is also the man behind Charlotte.

 

Moreover, the English voices of Nao Tomori by Landa Lauren and Yuu Otosaka by Chase Ray make this a pleasing experience. The premise is cool and so are the people behind it. This anime is a work that you should be curious about.

 

 

46. Fullmetal Panic

 

 

 

Next up, we have a series that stands high as a Mecha series. It is called Fullmetal Panic. (Yeah, Fullmetal panic. Why? It can’t be similar to FMAB?). This military mecha anime consists of 24 episodes. It is adapted from a Manga series.

 

The manga was written by Gatoh Shoji and illustrated by Tateo Retsu. The series is about Sousuke Sagara, a guy who works as a sergeant under Mithril. What is Mithril you may ask? Well, Mithril is an organization that uses high-end mechs to eradicate the planet from terrorism.

 

Now Sousuke is assigned the task of saving Chidori Kaname who is a ‘Whispered Candidate’. What’s a ‘Whispered’ you may ask? Well, Whispered is an organization that makes the cutting-edge technology used by Mithril. Now the enemy wants Chidori but Sousuke must do his best to save her.

 

Therefore, he is asked to blend in with Chidori’s class as a student. However, having the warzone as his home, Sousuke has NEVER had an ordinary life before. Thus, his life in this school is going to be a remarkable journey.

 

As the day passes, the enemy gets closer and Sousuke’s duty becomes rougher and rougher. This anime is one of the old anime that had a great dubbed alternative. Chris Patton as Sousuke Sagari and Christian Luci as Chidori Kaname, the series has a fluent and humorous tone to its English counterpart.

 

 

47. Hyouka

 

 

 

Talking about High School, we have another amazing high school series of the new-gen. Hyouka is a 22-episode anime that was broadcasted in 2012. The anime adaptation is based on its Novel. The Novel is called Koten-bu Series written by Yonezawa Honobu.

 

The narrative focuses on Oreki Houtarou, a high scholar who desires nothing but peace in his life. No conditions, no drama, nothing. Just peace and relaxation. However, you know this is not going to be the case. Oreki encounters the beautiful and intelligent Chitanda Eru in the Classics Club.

 

Oreki was initially reluctant to join the classics club. However, he was asked by his sister to do so. Therefore, with the idea that no one would disturb him in a small club, he joins them. Now with Chitanda and his other friends, Oreki’s life changes forever.

 

He goes against his ideal of ‘Energy Conservation ‘. Thus, he ends up solving multiple mysteries about his school and its students. This slice-of-life anime is considered to be one of the best in the genre. With the relaxing voice of Gibbs Adam and the exciting voice of Morris Madeleine, the series is a calming journey.

 

A journey that may seem mundane at first but is pleasing.

In our enormous list, we have Classroom Of The Elite. With one of the most interesting premises out there, the series also has a great dub. This anime is an adaptation of a light novel. The light novel was written by Kinugasa Shougo and illustrated by Tomose Shunsaku.

 

The series is about a school named Koudo Ikusei Senior High. This government-funded educational institution has claimed a perfect employment rate. If you pass out of this school, successful life is almost inevitable. However, what exactly this school possesses is something out of our comprehension.

 

You can’t meet someone outside the school premises. No, not even your parents. The student who becomes a part of this school will stay here for 3 years no matter what. With more such intriguing rules and conditions, Kiyotaka Ayanakoji begins his journey.

 

What this school has in store for him and the other students, is a whole new world. We have Briner Justin as Ayanakoji and Angelle Felecia as Horikita. Their efforts make this series a name for its English version. If you are a fan of some interesting high school drama, then this anime is a must-watch.
