Giorgio asks Pietro to transfer money and messages to a group of fighters outside the city, which the priest does. While Pietro and Pina attempt to smuggle Giorgio out of town, unbeknownst to them there's a Gestapo collaborator in their ranks who might jeopardise Giorgio's escape.
