Trisha Rawlings is a wealthy Beverly Hills socialite who suffers from loneliness after separating from her philandering husband Stu. She comes across Strip Harrison, a young drifter who instantly becomes infatuated with her and follows her home, despite her cold demeanour. 

 

Although initially annoyed by Strip's flirtation, Trisha begins to reciprocate his affections. However, the age and class differences make her feel ashamed.
